Georgetown Law, along with platinum sponsor Howrey LLP and sponsors Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP and Compass Lexecon, is proud to present the 4th Annual Georgetown Law Global Antitrust Symposium on September 21, 2010 in Washington, DC. This program has been specifically designed for top executives and corporate counsel who need to keep abreast of the latest trends in global antitrust enforcement.
The faculty will focus on the areas of greatest concern to multinational enterprises: what is new in US merger enforcement; the range of permissive and questionable vertical restraints by companies with and without market power; perspectives and best practices from leading in-house counsel; and “hot topics” on the global enforcement agency agendas.
Christine Varney, Assistant Attorney General, Antitrust Division, US Department of Justice, will give the keynote address at 9:00 am, and Jon Leibowitz, Chairman, US Federal Trade Commission, will give the luncheon address at 12:30 pm at The Liaison Capitol Hill.
