The NMa is well known for its cartel work. Back in 2004,it uncovered one of the largest cartels ever, eventuallyfining more than 1,400 construction companies overe100 million for cartel activity. Four years on, the sectoris still a priority for the authority - some of those cases are still wending their way through the courts.
