In September, the Mexican government vowed to introduce legislation to add much-needed teeth to the country’s antitrust laws. If approved, the changes would increase the amount the country’s antitrust agency, the CFC, is allowed to fine cartelists and those guilty of abusing their dominant position, and could perhaps make price-fixing a criminal offence
