It’s been a busy year for New Zealand competition. Companies are queuing up to receive compliance advice following several reforms to the law, including liability in both Australia and New Zealand for companies and individuals found to have violated the law of either country, the expected introduction of criminal liability for individuals and the possibility of shortened divestment deadlines. Firms have also benefited from a large amount of cross-border work, including the air cargo cartel and the Merck/Schering-Plough merger
