The Czech Republic's Office for the Protection of Competition has undergone several changes during 2009. The office gained a new president last year when politician Petr Rafaj replaced Marcin Pecina. During 2009, Rafaj kept a low profile while he learned the ropes, so practitioners say they have yet to get to know the new agency head.
