In 2009, Russia's Federal Antimonopoly Service took significant steps to improve its performance. For the past three years the service has been developing new competition legislation, and last year it introduced its "second antimonopoly package". The package includes amendments to Russia's Competition Law, the Administrative Code and the Criminal Code.
