David Gilo became the leader of Israel’s Antitrust Authority in April. Since then, historic public protests over living costs have erupted across the country, and the authority has gained significant powers to stamp out anti-competitive behaviour. Faaez Samadi speaks to Gilo about an eventful first six months in charge.
