Once again, Brazil’s Secretariat of Economic Law is the antitrust authority that may best exemplify “punching above one’s weight.” While the enforcer weighs in at a slim 39 full-time employees working on competition enforcement, it has again brought a slew of cartel and conduct investigations that by sheer volume alone would be the envy of enforcers twice its size.
