Simen Karlsen
Simen Karlsen earned his Master's degree in economics from the University of Bergen in 2000. Today, he is a senior economist at Copenhagen Economics, where he has worked for the last three and a half years. Previously, Simen worked for seven years at the Norwegian Competition Authority and the EFTA Surveillance Authority.
Simen Karlsen is an expert in competition economics and electronic communications. He has worked on several telecoms projects, including two projects on regulation of international roaming for the European Parliament and the Swiss Ministry of Economic Affairs. As regards competition, he has, among other things, been in charge of two projects measuring the economic impact of competition policy for the Norwegian Ministry of Government Administration and Reform as well as of complex merger cases for private clients.
