Niklas Strand
Dr Niklas Strand received his PhD in Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics in 2001. Before joining Copenhagen Economics as a senior economist in 2009, he worked at the Swedish Competition Authority for six years, mainly in antitrust law cases, and in sectors ranging from forest products to finance. He also worked for a year and a half at the competition department of the Swedish post and telecom regulator, where he was mainly involved in the broadband and mobile markets. Dr Strand has published on pricing and merger analysis in leading international journals and books.
