Whole Foods offers FTC truce

Less than a week after an appeals court threw out its attempt to sue the US Federal Trade Commission, speciality supermarket Whole Foods has proposed a settlement that would, if accepted by the commission, officially end its protracted and very public fight to protect its merger with rival Wild Oats.
