BP/Apache deal unlikely to raise concerns in Canada

In an attempt to shore up funding to rectify the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico, British Petroleum (BP) has struck a deal to sell off US$7 billion in assets in a series of deals that will require antitrust review in the US and Canada.
