UK defends late Ryanair/Aer Lingus probe

The UK’s Office of Fair Trading says that it’s not too late for it to investigate whether Ryanair’s purchase of a minority stake in rival Irish carrier Aer Lingus during 2006 and 2007 harmed competition.
