Court overrules ACCC on Metcash/Franklins

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has lost another case against grocery wholesaler Metcash, as its appeal to block the grocery company’s A$215 million (€163 million) takeover of Franklins supermarkets was dismissed by Australia’s Federal Court on Wednesday.
