CADE clears meat deal in face of authority opposition

Brazil’s Council for Economic Defence (CADE) has unconditionally cleared the acquisition of meat production facilities by the country’s third-largest meat producer despite calls from Brazil’s other antitrust authorities to impose commitments on the transaction.
