DG Comp confirms UPS/TNT merger block

The European Commission has confirmed its prohibition of the €5.2 billion merger between United Parcel Service (UPS) and its Dutch rival TNT, two weeks after the companies announced they will abandon their tie-up because of DG Comp’s opposition.
