UK insurer stands by rejected bid

UK insurer Royal Sun Alliance (RSA) has today said it stands by its £5 billion (€6.1 billion) bid for Aviva’s UK, Canadian and Irish general insurance businesses, which could make it the largest general insurance provider in each of the three countries.
