After 13 years, US oversight of Microsoft draws to a close

On 12 May, the US government will end its oversight of Microsoft’s abuse of dominance commitments, more than a decade after the US Department of Justice’s antitrust division filed a suit against the company accusing it of squeezing rival web browsers out of the market.
