Fourth Circuit backs Novell in its lawsuit against Microsoft

The Fourth Circuit court of appeals has found that software maker Novell's antitrust lawsuit against Microsoft should be allowed to proceed, overturning a lower court's ruling that Novell abandoned that right when it sold its operating system to rival Caldera.
