Dutch court puts the brakes on Mars marketing strategy

Mars forced to halt loyalty rebate programme
A Dutch court has stopped confectionery company Mars from further rolling out a marketing strategy that rewards service stations in the Netherlands for obeying its rules on product display. The 's-Hertogenbosch District Court granted the injunction last week, ruling that the strategy may constitute abuse of dominance.
