Whole Foods to retain majority of disputed stores

The US Federal Trade Commission has agreed to extend the timetable for organic grocer Whole Foods’ divestment of eight Wild Oats stores. Thirty-two stores were put up for sale after the FTC imposed remedies on the companies’ consummated merger.
