Mauritius cracks open cement market

Mauritius’s government will liberalise the country’s cement market, after a report from the country’s Competition Commission called for more competition in the sector.

Mauritius’s Competition Commission has opened antitrust inquiries into the beef and travel agent markets, bringing the total number of investigations to three since the country’s competition act came into effect in November last year.
