Biography: Competition

Robert Legh is a partner in Bowman Gilfillan's corporate department and is the head of the firm's competition and trade law practice area. He specialises in competition law, regulatory advice, lobbying and mergers and acquisitions. The practice area is the largest in South Africa and employs some 30 lawyers, specialising in the full range of aspects of competition law.

Robert is a co-author of the principal South African textbook on competition law in South Africa and is a regular contributor to local and international publications on competition law. He has BComm and LLB degrees and an MBA from Wits University.

He is a member of the executive committee of Bowman Gilfillan.
