Paris Anestis
Paris Anestis practises all aspects of European and Greek competition, trade and regulatory law. Paris has broad experience in investigations of anti-competitive agreements and concerted practices, mergers and acquisitions, abuse of monopoly positions, liberalisation of monopoly sectors and government regulation, public procurement and state aid. He also has in-depth knowledge of EC funding mechanisms, fundamental freedoms of EC law and international trade. Throughout his career, he has represented clients before the European institutions both at staff (DG COMP and DG TREN especially) and political (cabinets, permanent representations and governments) level, in addition to a number of national regulators and competition authorities. On several occasions, Paris has also represented the legal service of the European Commission before the European courts in Luxembourg.
