Liga Hartmane
Liga Hartmane is a Partner at Klavins & Slaidins LAWIN and heads the LAWIN Industry and Regulatory practice group in Latvia. She specializes in competition law, commercial agency, franchising and distribution, mergers and acquisitions, as well as general corporate law. Ms. Hartmane advises a number of Latvian and international clients on all aspects of EU and Latvian competition law. Ms. Hartmane has graduated from the University of Latvia Faculty of Law (dipl. iur. 2000, mag. iur. 2002), and holds a Diploma in EC Competition Law (2005) from the University of London King's College. She has written numerous law review articles regarding Latvian antitrust and competition law and practice. Ms. Hartmane has also held lecturing positions in legal theory, University of Latvia and at the Latvian Training Center for Judges, and been a guest lecturer in merger control at the Riga Graduate School of Law.
