Bruno De Luca Drago

Bruno Drago is a partner of the competition practice group at Demarest e Almeida and is also active in the international trade practice group. He advises domestic and international clients in all competition law matters, including merger notifications, investigations on competition violations, leniency, compliance programmes and distribution practices. He also advises clients in international trade issues and M&A matters.

He graduated from Faculdade de Direito da Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Sío Paulo in 2001, and was admitted to the Brazilian Bar Association in Sío Paulo (OAB/SP) in 2002. He concluded his postgraduate in Business Finance for Lawyers at Universidade de Sío Paulo, in 2002. He also concluded his LLM in Competition Law at King’s College London, University of London, in 2005. From June to September 2005, Bruno was an intern at the British Institute of International and Comparative Law (BIICL), London. From October 2005 to April 2007, he worked as an associate at Howrey LLP, based in Brussels and Washington DC. Bruno is a member of the American Bar Association (ABA), of the Brazilian Institute of Studies on Competition, Consumer Affairs and International Trade (IBRAC) and the Commission for Competition and Consumer Affairs at CESA.

He is an active speaker in domestic and international seminars and is also the author of several articles published in specialised publications. He is fluent in English.
