Giovanni M Pallone is an associate at Tonucci & Partners. His practice areas cover competition and regulatory law, both at domestic and Community level, as well as unfair business practices. He has been involved in cartel and abuse of dominant position cases, as well as in domestic and multijurisdictional merger control filings related to several sectors such as industrial gas, gaming and betting, defence, renewable energy, airport services, postal services, automation systems, insurance and telecommunications. Prior to joining Tonucci & Partners, Giovanni worked for other leading international law firms and in the legal department of a Japanese multinational company in Amsterdam. Giovanni graduated in law at the University of Rome 'La Sapienza' and, he spent one year at the University of Stockholm, Sweden, as a visiting student. He received an LLM, cum laude, in International Commercial and Trade Law from the Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Since his LLM graduation, Giovanni actively cooperates with the Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam and regularly lectures at the EC Competition Law course.
