Irina Drofenko

Irina specialises in privatisation, restructuring and insolvency, competition and antitrust. She has extensive experience in representing clients' interests in merger filings, antitrust proceedings, privatisation, advising on post-privatisation issues, representing clients in litigations on recovery of creditworthiness of debtors, advising on development and analysis of financial reorganisation's plans.
Prior to joining Engarde, Irina worked as head of department for legal support at the State Property Fund of Ukraine, and as a secretary for criminal cases in the Pechersky district court in Kiev.
Irina received her Diploma in Law from Kiev National University of Internal Affairs in 2002 and was admitted to the Ukraine Bar in 2008. She is a member of the Kiev City Bar Association.
Irina speaks Ukrainian, Russian and English.
