Imran Ahmad’s practice encompasses a wide range of competition, trade and investment review matters. Currently practising in Toronto, Mr Ahmad previously practised in the Calgary office of Bennett Jones where he gained experience in the oil and gas industry. He was called to the Bars of Alberta and Ontario in 2008 and is fluent in both English and French. Mr Ahmad holds an LLB from Université de Montréal and an LLM in Antitrust and Competition Law from the University of Ottawa. Prior to joining Bennett Jones, Mr Ahmad clerked for Justice Edmond P Blanchard at the Federal Court (Trial Division), Competition Tribunal and Court Martial Appeal Court. He is also a former associate editor of the Revue Québécoise de Droit International.
