More than a decade after Switzerland made cartels illegal, and less than four years since it gained modern competition enforcement powers, there are signs of progress at the competition authority, and Switzerland's competition practices are rising to the challenge. Firms are bulking up and the range of work is expanding. It's still early days for modern competition enforcement in Switzerland, but all the evidence points to increased enforcement and the need to field first-rate competition teams in Swiss corporate law firms.
